Teen Leadership

TEEN LEADERSHIP PROGRAMS
(AGES 13-17)

Leaders In Training (Rising Sophomores)
This is a transitional program between campers and our Counselor In Training (CIT) Program. This two-week program focuses on developing leadership skills, team building, responsibility and enjoying the traditional camp activities. This program is designed for those campers interested in strengthening their leadership skills. This camp session is two full weeks including one weekend.

Counselors In Training (Rising Juniors)
The CIT program is a three week camp experience for campers who have a desire to train as counselors and develop their leadership skills. It is a program where they transition from camper to potential staff. CITs are campers and will not be left alone to supervise other campers. CITs are selected through an application process.

YMCA High School Christian Values Camp (Rising ninth graders through graduating seniors)
Participants will board the bus at midnight Saturday and travel to YMCA Blue Ridge Assembly in Black Mountain, NC to join 500 other teens from across the nation for a week of magic on the mountain. Teens will be broken into family groups and experience a life-changing week of fun, games, friendship and learning about values in unique ways.
